Funding Your Journey with Avant
At Avant Supported Living, our primary focus is on empowering you to achieve your personal goals and live the life you envision. We understand that understanding how services are funded is a crucial part of this journey. We are dedicated to helping individuals access the support they need by working with a variety of funding sources.
Navigating Funding Options for Your Supported Living:
Avant Supported Living proudly partners with various funding mechanisms to ensure our innovative services are accessible. Our primary focus is on supporting individuals who qualify for and utilize:
Medicaid Waivers
These vital programs are often the cornerstone of funding for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We work with various Medicaid waivers designed to provide community-based services that promote independence and inclusion. This includes waivers specific to Autism and other Developmental Disabilities. These waivers are designed for individuals who meet certain criteria related to:
- A disability attributable to an intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, head injury, autism, or a learning disability related to brain dysfunction, or any other mental or physical impairment.
- The disabling condition occurred prior to the age of 22 and is likely to continue indefinitely.
- The condition results in substantial functional limitations in two or more of the following areas: Self-Care, Receptive/Expressive Language, Learning, Mobility, Self-Direction, or Capacity for Independent Living/Economic Self-Sufficiency.
- The individual requires some level of habilitative training, which means skill development that assists in learning to become more independent.
Private Pay Arrangements
For individuals who prefer or require alternative funding solutions, we also offer private pay options. This allows for direct access to Avant’s tailored services outside of waiver programs.
Understanding Your Options:
We know that understanding these funding pathways can sometimes feel complex. Our team is here to provide clarity and support as you explore the best options for your unique situation. We are committed to transparency and will work with you to understand eligibility, application processes, and how your chosen funding source can best support your engagement with Avant’s services.
